Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the applicable college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Graduate of recognized/accredited Program in Medical Imaging Technology (MRT, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, CLXT, MRI) Member in good standing and current registration with Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologist (ACMDTT) , Alberta College of Combined Lab/ X-ray technologist (ACCLXT) or Sonography Canada. Minimum of 5 years as a technologist/sonographer. Working knowledge or RIS, HIS and PACS. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development is required. Practical experience with Diagnostic Imaging Quality initiatives. Demonstrated ability to foster relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to effectively teach, coach and mentor others. Minimum of 5 years as a technologist/sonographer. Working knowledge or RIS, HIS and PACS. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development is required. Practical experience with Diagnostic Imaging Quality initiatives. Demonstrated ability to foster relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to effectively teach, coach and mentor others.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Certification with CAMRT is an asset. Process Improvement courses and certification is an asset. Formal training in Quality Management is an asset. Equivalences of education and experience will be considered.
