Your Opportunity:

This is an opportunity to work in the busy diverse city of Airdrie at the Addiction and Mental Health Clinic. This job is clinical in nature. Therapists are responsible for providing assessment/diagnosis, treatment services and follow-up with an emphasis on children, adolescent services and emerging adults. There are opportunities to provide individual, family and group services tailored to the child, adolescent and emerging adult clients. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Description:

As a Family Counsellor, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up to clients and their families. You will also provide clinical focused consultation with other programs or community resources and acts as a liaison to develop and promote preventative health programs in the community. You will collaborate with other health care providers and community service providers to ensure a continuum of care in the community.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Candidates will need 3+ years of community mental health experience supporting ages 0-30.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will demonstrate training and career development in the child, adolescent and emerging adult population. Experience in rural menta health preferred.
