Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with applicable professional association or college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in a Mental Health related discipline (e.g. Social Work and Psychology). Current registration in relevant professional association recognized by Alberta's Health Profession Act (e.g. ACSW and CAP). Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience and excellence in family therapy in a Mental Health/Psychiatric setting, preferably with children and adolescents. Experience working collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Creative, flexible, and collaborative systems thinker. Strong computer skills required. Creativity and adaptability in a continuously changing environment is essential. Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous teaching and educating experience (mental health and/or medical) is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent development, family dynamics, and relational theories. Demonstrated knowledge of Family Centered Care. Demonstrated leadership and ability to work independently. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary team members. Strong family therapy skills and experience is an asset.
