Minimum of Post-Secondary education in office administration or associated areas is required. Position requires a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible senior experience within a large organization, preferably in a healthcare environment required. Demonstrated advance level knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio), Adobe Professional, ePeople Recruitment Management System is required. Strong interpersonal and organization, excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Ability to work collaboratively with junior and senior team members within the hospital, the Zone, and with clinical and corporate portfolios across AHS required. Ability to prioritize, manage and meet deadlines in a time sensitive and multi-project environment is required. Able to exercise judgment, professionalism, diplomacy and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential issues required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required. Self-directed in their approach to take on additional tasks as required to benefit the effective operation of the Office of the Senior Operating Officer required.

Preferred Qualifications:Considerable working knowledge of Alberta Health Services systems and processes, department and/or divisional policies and procedures preferred.
