Grade 12 and post-secondary diploma. 5 years progressively responsible senior administrative experience within a health setting or large organization.
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated advanced level knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio); Adobe Professional; ePeople RMS is mandatory. Considerable working knowledge of AHS systems and processes, department and/or divisional policies and procedures. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to work collaboratively with junior and senior team members within the Calgary Zone and with clinical and corporate portfolios across AHS. Ability to prioritize, manage and meet deadlines in a time sensitive and multi-project environment is essential. Must be able to exercise judgement, professionalism, diplomacy and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential issues. Ability to work independently within minimal supervision. Self-directed in their approach to take on additional tasks as required to benefit the effective operation of the office of the ED. Commitment to a service orientation for colleagues, families and all levels of AHS portfolios.
Preferred Qualifications:Post-secondary education in office administration or associated area.
