A High School Diploma, supplemented with post secondary management/supervisory courses from an accredited institution are required. Proficient use of computer software applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and the internet is required. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with strong written and oral communication skills, are essential.
Additional Required Qualifications:All new employees will be required to attend a 2-day Environmental Services Orientation and a 1-day AHS Orientation.
Preferred Qualifications:Two (2) years supervisory experience in a large institution; preferably in a healthcare setting, and demonstrated knowledge of Environmental Services, Infection Control and Workplace Health & Safety are preferred. A combination of education, training and relevant experience including customer service experience, may be considered.
