Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences, Engineering, or Business Administration (equivalent combination of education and clinical experience may be considered); - Minimum 5 years general business experience or clinical quality improvement, preferably in the health sector, service, manufacturing. - Minimum 3 years using improvement methods and tools in leader role - Quality improvement certification/designations such as Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt, LSS, IHI Improvement Advisor, etc. (Black Blet of equivalent designation; equivalencies will be considered) - Expertise in utilizing and providing coaching in improvement tools and methods including but not limited to: VSM, DMAIC, 5S, Visual Management, Flow and Load Balancing

Additional Required Qualifications:

Key Requirements include strong knowledge of statistical and data analysis, demand capacity balancing, project management and team facilitation. Experience in deploying end-end improvements with significant results. Experience in transferable/"soft" skills, including communication, teamwork and problem solving required. Proven coaching and mentorships skills required as well as excellent conflict resolution and communication skills. Proficiency in Visio, Excel, Access, Power Point, Word, and QI Macros is desirable. In addition, the incumbent will also possess a clear, demonstrated pattern of success in the following areas: Documented evidence of formal training in quality improvement. Leading multi-stakeholder change initiatives to achieve a strategic objective (cost; quality; lead time). Needs to show clear link to departmental priorities; provide input into unit operational plans and departmental plans as well. Knowledge in funding agencies and experience writing and applying for grant funding.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree preferred.
