Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must hold a valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence and satisfactory driving record. Completion of Driver Instructors Certificate.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of driving instructor experience (preferably in Edmonton) Must be proficient in spoken and written English Must be physically able to lift, bend, crouch and kneel to install and remove vehicle modifications as needed Must be able to assist with patient transfers (getting in and out of a vehicle) as needed. Must be proficient with computer use such as typing emails, writing documents and completing forms.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with vehicle modifications (spinner knobs, signal extenders, left foot accelerators, hand controls among others) is an asset. Experience or knowledge with medical conditions is an asset.
