Required Qualifications:

An undergraduate degree in Leadership, organizational development, business administration, education, change management or other related discipline. Certification including CPHR, CSTD, CACE, CCM, PROSCI or other related field is required. Greater than ten (10) years learning and development or organizational development experience in an organization of significant size and complexity, including five (5) years of increasingly advanced leadership experience. Experience leading the areas of learning and development and team practices are important.


Additional Required Qualifications:

As an experienced thought leader, you also have experience in strategy, business planning, and stakeholder management. You have a successful record demonstrating LEADS Competencies: Lead Self, Engage Others, Achieve Results, Develop Coalitions and Systems Transformation; and you have demonstrated AHS CARES values: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Safety. An authentic and inspiring leader, you are skilled in critical thinking, balanced judgement and long-term planning, assessing options and implications. An effective communicator with strong organizational skills, you possess a client-focused orientation, and commitment to providing quality services. You have demonstrated capability in leadership skills, including comfort with decision-making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. You display an ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Your proven ability to foster partnerships allows you to achieve organizational goals within a large, diverse unionized organization and quickly adapt strategies in response to emerging issues/needs. As a demonstrated leader, you easily foster a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships with, public agencies, government, boards, committees and other partners.


Preferred Qualifications:

A graduate degree. Successful large-scale project leadership, strategic thinking and implementation experience. Ability to manage a team of deep experts and a diverse stakeholder group. Healthcare industry experience is an asset.
