An undergraduate degree in Leadership, organizational development, business administration, education, change management or other related disciplines is required. Certification including CPHR, CSTD, CACE, CCM, PROSCI or other related fields is also required. Greater than ten (10) years of Organizational Effectiveness, People/Employee Experience, or Change Adoption & Evaluation experience in an organization of significant size and complexity, including five (5) years of increasingly advanced leadership experience is needed for this role. Experience in leading the areas of Organizational Effectiveness, People/Employee Experience, Engagement and/or Change Adoption & Evaluation is required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
An experienced thought leader in the human capital domain, you have experience in strategy, policy development, business planning, modeling concepts and senior stakeholder management. You have a successful record demonstrating LEADS Competencies: Lead Self, Engage Others, Achieve Results, Develop Coalitions and Systems Transformation; and you have demonstrated AHS CARES values: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Safety. You bring knowledge or experience in program and project management theories, principles and practices. An authentic and inspiring leader, you are skilled in critical thinking, balanced judgement and long-term planning, assessing options and implications. An effective communicator with strong organizational skills, you possess a client-focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. You demonstrate leadership skills, including comfort with decision-making responsibilities, coaching and teaching and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. You display an ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Your proven ability to foster partnerships allows you to achieve organizational goals within a large, diverse unionized organization and quickly adapt strategies in response to emerging issues/needs. As a demonstrated leader, you easily foster a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships with, public agencies, government, boards, committees, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
A graduate degree. Healthcare industry knowledge and experience is an asset. Successful large-scale change project leadership and implementation experience is an asset. Expertise in engagement, employee experience and organizational effectiveness and development is preferred.
