Required Qualifications:

An undergraduate or graduate degree in healthcare administration, business, or leadership. A minimum of 10 years’ experience within EMS, healthcare, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years’ of leadership experience in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Provincial Operator's License with no more than six demerits.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Practical experience in strategic planning, leadership, and project/program management. Experience with procurement, equipment and supply management. Experience working with Capital Management and a demonstrated understanding of Facilities and Infrastructure management. Experience in Emergency Management and preparedness planning. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst groups, and build strong relationships with public agencies, governments, boards, committees and other partners. Ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues.


Preferred Qualifications:

A Master’s Degree in a Health Sciences Discipline or equivalent level of education training and experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
