Completion of Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Foods and Nutrition. Completion of an internship program or practicum training program accredited by the Dietitians of Canada. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum three years’ experience as a Clinical Dietitian. Advanced skills in Nutrition Counselling for Behaviour Change.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience & demonstrated excellence in the provision of Nutrition Care for clients of all ages living with Eating Disorders or other Mental Health conditions, preferred. Demonstrated experience and strengths in providing psycho-education in a group setting as well as program planning and development skills is an asset. Knowledge of and experience with nutrition care planning for enteral nutrition support is preferred.
