Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Dental Hygienists of Alberta (CRDHA).

Additional Qualifications:

- Active registration with the Alberta Dental Hygienists' Association and successful completion of a recognized Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene from a recognized program and recent experience in community dental health programs an asset. - Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office, email, Caseworks, eClinician and Meditech is preferred. - Must demonstrate clear concise verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to be self directed and to exercise independent professional judgment required. - Strong interpersonal skills required. - Experience in interdisciplinary team work required. - Experience working with young children, diverse cultures, and marginalized populations and knowledge and understanding of the determinants of health and health promotion required. - Strong analytical, critical thinking, decision making and organizational skills required. - Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification is required. Please Note: This position requires a vehicle for business use. Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel is required.
