B.S. Computer Science, B.S. Information Technology, Degree in any applicable computer-related field. With SQL and PL/SQL programming training and/or certificate. Proven work experience as an Oracle Database Administrator or similar related duties. Experience in database performance tuning and optimization techniques. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner. Experience working in Linux servers.
Additional Required Qualifications:At least 1-3 years' experience in database or similar application management and administration. PL/SQL programming proficient and able to rewrite codes to enhance performance. Good understanding of database architecture, some familiarity with Unix shell scripts, and knowledge of database optimization features or techniques. Excellent customer service and team player. Effective written and verbal communication. Must be able to handle fast paced and multi-tasking tasks.
