Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of current clinical experience with Alberta Health Services. Experience facilitating, instructing, precepting and or teaching. Working knowledge of organizational/clinical workflows and practice. Demonstrated ability to learn new material and adapt to changes. Experience with health care technology and the ability to master new software programs. Proven leadership and problem solving abilities. Experience working successfully in both collaborative and independent work settings. Experience promoting change processes in a positive, effective manner. Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office tools including word, SharePoint and Visio. Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods with extended computer use. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Please note, this facility provides Long Term Care (LTC) or Designated Supportive Living (DSL) services and by Order of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, many AHS employees are restricted to work only at a single LTC/DSL site for the remainder of the pandemic. Speak to the hiring manager who will confirm if, as the successful candidate in this position, you will be restricted to work at only one LTC/DLS site in Alberta.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience credentialing in Connect Care training tracks. Completion of Prosci change management training. Demonstrated ability to think systematically, improve quality, realize improved outcomes and engage others in same. Demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching, teaching and able to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated experience in planning, communication, facilitation and coordination of multiple projects/operational work packages.
