Completion of post-secondary education required with a minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree. Formal post-secondary training that includes medical billing and medical terminology. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:5 to 7 years of progressive experience, both managing projects and individually creating/implementing practical solutions ideally with experience in a healthcare/physician culture and/or human resource management context. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage short term and long term plans and projects and deliver customer focused results. Strong data literacy and data management skills: ability to understand data linkages and to efficiently combine different data elements from different sources to deliver integrated solutions. Ability to direct others how to manage data. Creative in establishing new processes that are efficient and effective. Effective communication skills, particularly oral. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to quality services. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals. Self-motivated and skilled at balancing competing demands and multiple, changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with physician billing processes (fee for service and/or Alternative Relationship Plan environments) and/or physician office operations. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
