Your Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator II. You will play a key role directly supporting our Project Manager(s) during the delivery of the Pharmacy Connect program. An organized self-starter, you are ready to apply your strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve problems on your assigned project(s). This position will provide a broad range of support and administrative duties for our project managers, project teams and/or program initiatives. In addition to your 5+ years of experience working on projects, you also have a strong working knowledge of Project Management processes including project life cycles, project planning, financial tracking, and some understanding of working in health care. You possess excellent communication, facilitation and organizational skills that allow you to effectively collaborate with a wide range of diverse working partners. You are a detailed oriented individual that knows how to track projects for scope, timeline, and budgets using a variety of tools to ensure work is completed within Alberta Health Services’ Pharmacy PMO standards and practices. Some of your work may include managing and manipulating large amounts of project information stores/data so you are extremely comfortable using a wide range of computer based productivity tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Tableau and Teams. You may also sometimes be called upon to manage small portions of project related activities. Past experience working in a virtual setting, supporting or as a team member, large, complex, and transformative program/project teams would be considered an asset.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience with MS Project, SharePoint and Office Suite including; Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Working knowledge of project management principles, tools, and methodologies. Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Strong written and oral skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrates a clear pattern of professional and personal development related to Project Management. Healthcare knowledge and experience is considered an asset. General technical knowledge of software implementations is also considered an asset.
