Your Opportunity:

The Performance Excellence & Advancing Knowledge (PEAK) team in Cancer Care Alberta is leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive Performance Monitoring Framework (PMF) that will support continuous improvement and achievement of Alberta's 10 Year Strategic Plan for Cancer. The PMF will provide an enterprise approach to monitoring and evaluating performance across the cancer care continuum, encompassing clinical outcomes, patient experience, workforce, finance, innovation, and operational performance. The PMF enables integrated reporting for executive, operational, government, public, and clinical audiences. Beyond reporting, the PMF will serve as an enterprise performance excellence system where teams are supported by meaningful data interpretation, quality improvement tools and templates, coaching, and governance to enable continuous improvement across the organization. Reporting to the Director of PEAK, the Senior Consultant will oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of Cancer Care Alberta's PMF. This includes working collaboratively with partners to develop key performance indicators, reporting infrastructure, evaluation methods, knowledge translation, capacity-building opportunities, and evidence-informed improvement projects that support organizational accountability in a learning health system. The Senior Consultant will work closely with the Managing Director, Cancer Care Executive Committee (CCEC), and other Cancer Care Alberta leaders to coordinate, compile, update, and schedule routine performance reporting activities including reporting on the Alberta Cancer Strategy.
