Completion of an Alberta College of Paramedics (ACP) accredited program. Active registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACP). Must hold a valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence with no more than six (6) demerits.
Additional Required Qualifications:Candidates may be required to travel out of town and overnight for extended periods of time on short notice in extenuating circumstances. Candidates must be able to be around sick or injured patients and be able to provide Pt care riding 3rd on an Ambulance including lifting heavy pts. Candidates must be able to twist and bend frequently as well as lift heavy items such as stretchers. (Up to 80 lbs. plus or half of a Powered Stryker Stretcher). Candidates must be able to tolerate Emergency settings and be exposed to bodily fluids due to trauma or medical problems. Certification, or proven skills and ability, of computer knowledge including an in-depth understanding of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. Minimum one year experience as a VESST/Coordinator. Minimum of 1 year experience using the Fleet Management Software in ARI/Holman. Minimum of 1 year experience of Fleet/Equipment Campaign Management. Minimum one year in Warehouse and stock experience. Minimum one year in AHS Equipment Management and Distribution/Coordination.
Preferred Qualifications:Supervisory experience within AHS EMS. Frontline experience as an EMS practitioner.
