Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Psychology or Social Work. Active or eligible for full registration (not provisional) with College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) or the Alberta College of Social Work (ACSW). A minimum of 5 years' experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Equivalent education and experience are defined as: Bachelor’s degree in social work with Psychosocial Intervention Authorization; Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy with experience in mental health assessment and intervention; Bachelor of Science in Nursing with experience in mental health assessment and intervention; Diploma or bachelor's degree in Psychiatric Nursing. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the last seven (7) years providing formal clinical supervision. Advanced skills in assessment and intervention for individuals of all ages with addiction and mental health concerns, including crisis intervention skills. Competency in concurrent capable practice within addiction and mental health. Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Skype for Business. Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience providing support to clients through a telephony platform. Experience working on a virtual and/or geographically dispersed team. Solid working knowledge of the continuum of Addiction and Mental Health services available within Alberta Health Services, and the range of community-based services that address the social determinants of health.
