Master's degree in Psychology or Social Work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Active or eligible for full registration (not provisional) with the applicable regulatory college. A minimum of 5 years' experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of a master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing. Registered Social Workers must be authorized to perform psychosocial interventions and designation as a Clinical Social Worker is preferred. Registration in a professional regulatory body in Alberta as defined by the Health Professionals Act (CRNA, CRPNA, ACOT, CAP, ACSW). Current BLS. Reliable vehicle is required. A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in mental health, with at least 3 years of clinical experience in child and adolescent mental health, preferably in a community-based setting. Advanced knowledge and skill in mental health assessment and intervention, including experience in group facilitation. Experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience using an electronic medical record. Course work and/or training specific to Clinical Supervision. Experience in supervision. Leadership experience. Experience with child and adolescent mental health therapeutic interventions such as CBT, EMDR, DBT and Solution-Focused Therapy.
