Master's degree in Psychology or Social Work or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college. 5 years' experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention.
Additional Required Qualifications:Professional experience providing leadership and/or supervision to other staff members. Minimum 3 years direct professional work in Child & Adolescent Mental Health. (inpatient and / or community). This must include experience with mental health assessment, case conceptualization, treatment of complex, multi-faceted cases and successful collaboration within a multidisciplinary, multi-agency team. Training and experience with developmental, attachment, patient and family centered care, and trauma theories. Proven ability to apply these in professional practice with children experiencing severe mental health challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:NVCI Certification. Collaborative Problem Solving training. Brain Story certification. Connect Care training an asset. Program development and/or evaluation experience. Change management training and/or experience. Proven ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team; including effective communication skills, conflict management, and setting professional boundaries. Proven ability with critical thinking and decision making with complex situations.
