Bachelor’s degree relevant to healthcare, clinical informatics, research, business, evaluation or healthcare administration is required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Business analysis tools (risk analysis, SWAT, process mapping), technical communication skills, Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Visio, SharePoint), familiarity with clinical terminologies/taxonomies and the AHS organization.
Preferred Qualifications:Clinical designation – e.g. Registered Nurse or related health discipline; Certification in Business Analysis an asset. 3+ years’ experience in healthcare or health informatics preferred, CPHIMS/CPHIMS-CA certification is an asset; process improvement (e.g. Lean/Six Sigma, AIW) and change management (e.g. Prosci) are assets.
