Completion of bachelor's degree in a health related field. Active registration with the applicable professional association or college.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must be a Pharmacy Technician, registered within the Province of Alberta. Ability to travel to the United States (when permitted). Ability to travel within Alberta 1 – 2 times per month. Must pass Epic aptitude test. Must obtain Epic Accreditation or Proficiency in Willow Inpatient within 3 months of hire. Demonstrated communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills. Demonstrated time management skills including ability to switch priorities and multitask is required. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment. Demonstrated computer and word processing skills. Committed to continual personal quality improvement and lifelong learning. Must be accurate, reliable, precise, cooperative, able to demonstrate effective service attitude, self-motivated.
Preferred Qualifications:AHS Inpatient Pharmacy experience. Prior hospital experience with a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to computer order entry, IV admixture and unit dose drug distribution. Experience with Windows-based computer applications. Experience and education in Epic configuration. Membership with a pharmacy professional organization is preferred.
