Graduate of a recognized Registered Dental Assistant college. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management role in a private dental practice. Management experience in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. Working knowledge of the health care/dental care system, dental clinic management and operations or related area is required. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Current BCLS-HCP. Demonstration of excellent critical-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Self-direction, adaptability and flexibility required while working in a fast-paced, multi-faceted work environment. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and public speaking skills. Excellent working knowledge and experience with RMS, e-People, and Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands. Demonstrated experience with the implementation of quality improvement initiatives. Progressive leadership experience in the dental care profession or related field. Effective communicator with strong organizational and influential skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching, and teaching and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to implement and manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse situations. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within a complex operating environment. Proven ability to foster positive partnerships to achieve organizational goals within a complex organization and managing within a unionized environment. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an ambulatory or urgent care setting. A sound working knowledge of electronic medical record systems including Connect Care, eCLINICIAN and Netcare. Working knowledge and experience with RMS, e-People, and Microsoft Office applications. Bachelor’s degree in dental or health related field or equivalent experience.
