Completion of certificate from an accredited school of Cardiology Technology. Active or eligible registration with the Alberta Society of Registered Cardiology Technologist (ASRCT). Active or eligible registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists Cardiology Technology (CSCT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Certificate from a recognized school of Cardiology Technology. Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP). Registered active status with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT). Registered active member with the Alberta Society of Registered Cardiology Technologist (ASRCT). Exercise tolerance/Stress testing experience within the last 2 years (equivalent to 0.5 FTE or greater). Experience within the last 2 years (equivalent to 0.5 FTE or greater) performing stress testing associated with myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI).
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiology Technologist in an acute care setting within the past 3 years (equivalent to 0.5 FTE or greater). Experience within the last 2 years (equivalent to 0.5 FTE or greater) related to the application, processing, and review of holter and event monitors. Familiarity with the following IT systems: MUSE / GEMS, Cardio Day, Sentinel, Connect Care,
