Required Qualifications:

Completion of certificate from an accredited school of Cardiology Technology. Active or eligible registration with the Alberta Society of Registered Cardiology Technologist (ASRCT). Active or eligible registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists Cardiology Technology (CSCT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 years’ experience within an accredited lab performing Electrocardiograms, Ambulatory Monitoring, and Exercise Stress Testing (Clinical and Nuclear Cardiology) required. Applicants with practical experience in an acute care setting as part of the Cardiology Technology program may be considered. The successful candidate will: Demonstrate excellent critical thinking, organization and problem solving skills. Promote a positive work environment that facilitates the development of a high performing team. Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and handle competing priorities. Demonstrate strong communication skills within a multi professional team environment. Show initiative, sound judgement and attention to detail/accuracy. Be able to interact collaboratively and positively with staff, students, physicians and the entire health care team to optimize the delivery of quality patient care. Demonstrate accountability for own professional practice and encourages others to do the same. Have strong computer skills. Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency and recent experience with the following IT systems is preferred: Muse, SCM, CARDIODAY, GEMS, Approach, Millennium Scheduler.
