Completion of a post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent level of education and experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:Strong Business Analysis Skills - The ability to research business problems and create solutions that address these business problems. Experience in the development of business requirements, technical design, and solution development. Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide suggestions for how to realize savings and enhance business processes. A minimum if one (1) year experience in conducting interviews to understand current procedures and identify potential areas for change. Ability to coordinate design and coordination of development, testing, implementation and maintenance of technical solutions. Strong knowledge of project life cycle, management, and associated best practices including ROI activities and forecasting. The ability to actively build and maintain positive client relationships. Ability to produce documentation in the English language that is technically and grammatically correct, concise, clear, accurate, and of an appropriate readability to the intended audience.
Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with Orion Application supporting Alberta NetCare. Overall knowledge of health system in Alberta along with IT systems that directly interact with Albertans. Business acumen and the ability to explain/translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMRs) systems deployed in Alberta. Experience with collecting technical requirements from clinicians.
