Nursing or Health Care related Bachelor Degree required. If applicable, an active registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management role, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Experience in leading nursing/healthcare teams and providing innovative solutions to complex system issues. Proven coaching skills that support team members to reach their full potential. An ability to work hard, have fun and contribute to a dynamic, successful healthcare team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous management experience within a Long Term Care setting is an asset. Strong knowledge of Long Term Care, Rural Acute Care, Rural Emergency, Rural Labour & Delivery and Home Care and the complexities that surround them. Understanding of the Continuing Care Health Service Standards (CCHSS) and Accommodation Standards Excellent attendance record. A vehicle in good repair and a valid driver's license is required.
