Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in a health related field in conjunction with a minimum of two years' direct related experience or master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable college. Experience in collecting, analyzing, interpreting and reporting multiple measures data set. Experience in Mental Health performance indicator development. Experience in designing and conducting evaluation research.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Plan and administer the synthesis and reporting of health system data from a large number of enterprise and legacy systems and other multiple internal and external sources and translate the knowledge to decision makers. Generate, analyze, and verify routine and special purpose statistical reports from these systems. Defining functional requirements for health services assist in implementing health services information systems and reporting software. Performing evaluation and quality improvement related activities including: needs assessments, logic models, process mapping, outcome measurement, interviews, focus groups, survey design, and analysis of administrative data, developing & implementing full program evaluations. Synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into appropriate formats include drafts of evaluation reports, briefing notes, drafts of research articles, summaries of academic and internet literature Forming, coordinating and leading working groups of key stakeholders including executive management, managers, physicians and clinicians. Leading projects and focus groups; organizing and chairing meetings. Planning and delivering education or training (knowledge exchange) to a professional audience. Perform Service/Program Evaluations; establishing effective data collection procedures for single and multi-site evaluations.       Work with other DST team members as well as stakeholders throughout Alberta Health Services as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Equivalent education and experience will be considered. Knowledge of mental health and addiction service delivery. Knowledge of database, spreadsheet and statistical analysis software. Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders (in writing and orally). Ability to plan, problem-solve, and organize multiple tasks and priorities. Experience in collecting, verifying, analyzing, interpreting and reporting large-scale data sets. Experience in carrying out research or evaluation plans.
