Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration). Knowledge and operation of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Additional Required Qualifications:

A diploma in Human Resources is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience in Human Resources will be considered. Experience in a Human Resources role working in Taleo and PeopleSoft are required. A minimum of three years Human Resources experience in a transactional environment is required. Considerable working knowledge of Alberta Health Services systems, policies, processes, Collective Agreements and legislation. Excellent working knowledge of office software applications (e.g. PowerPoint, Skype, software and database applications). Excellent written and oral communication skills, detail-oriented, organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize work. Excellent analytical, and problem solving skills. The ability to adapt when faced with unfamiliar issues, challenges and changing priorities is required. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a high volume, deadline driven environment is critical. A strong commitment to quality customer service is required. Must be comfortable training and presenting in front of an audience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Human Resources is preferred. Human Resources experience in a healthcare or Shared Services environment is asset. Experience in RightNow is preferred. Experience creating and delivering training sessions is preferred.
