An opportunity to work in Recovery Alberta with our Adult Addiction & Mental Health Outpatient team, Urgent Mental Health Team and Single Session Walk in Services at South Calgary Health Center (SCHC). The Administrative Support V reports to the Unit Manage/Program Manager. The Administrative Support V will act as the center of communication for our operations within our clinic, providing clerical/organizational support for the leadership team. Creating a positive experience for our clients, organization of appointments/meetings for multiple recourses, data entry, processing payroll, managing staff scheduling. They will provide leadership to other administrative staff, including support with prioritizing work distribution, problem solving, scheduling and communication flow. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program. Successful completion of a Medical Office Assistant Certificate or Unit Clerk Course from an accredited educational institution. The position requires advanced computer skills, problem resolution and communication, the ability to identify and attend to urgent issues and a high degree of accuracy and diplomacy. The Administrative Support V handles sensitive and confidential information on a regular basis. Due to the position requirements, the Administrative Support V is expected to work on site at SCHC. Minimum 3–5-year experience working in an Addictions and Mental Health focused clinical ambulatory setting or inpatient unit within the last 3 years. Scheduling and timekeeper experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point and Connect Care, ePeople, RMS, and eFacilities/IT Requests. Advanced in WFM timekeeping skills, submitting requests via Identity/Access Management and ordering supplies. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and handle competing priorities with strong organizational skills. Demonstrated initiative, sound judgement and attention to detail/accuracy. Demonstrated accountability for own professional practice. Ability to promote a positive work. 3 years of experience in a customer service environment.
Preferred Qualifications:Current experience working in an AHS centralized Infor (WFM) Staffing Service Center. 3–5-year scheduling experience. Timekeeping/payroll experience. Knowledge of the applicable collective agreements and pay codes. Experience working in a unionized, health care environment. Experience with AHS scheduling software (Infor WFM /WFM ASC).
