Your Opportunity:

Cancer Care Alberta is currently looking for an Administrative Support V (ASV) to join our inpatient team at the new, state of the art Arthur Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre. Reporting to the Managers of Inpatient Unit 95/125, the ASV brings specialized admin expertise as a key contributor to the daily unit operation and staff scheduling. Major responsibilities will span but not be limited to staffing and scheduling, payroll and timecard management, HR administration and supervision as well as specialized clerical support as required. You will use your extensive knowledge and experience in healthcare scheduling to ensure the unit is supported to facilitate the highest levels of safe patient care. The ASV will ensure the accurate collection, maintenance, problem solving and provisioning of scheduling data with high level of accuracy and efficiency. You will thrive in a fast paced, healthcare environment with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities that require dynamic organization skills. The ASV will bring proven communication skills both written and verbal as they liaise with Managers, staff and scheduling offices as needed. You will provide support to new hires processes in the department and related human resource administrative related to staff scheduling. Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of staff scheduling experience with AHS programs in a unionized environment. Experience with procurement of supplies and ordering platforms within AHS. Staff scheduling training and/or knowledge and experienced in ESP and Infor WFM. Advanced training and experience with Microsoft Office. (experience creating, editing, and entering data in spreadsheets, creating clinical word documents). Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to perform repetitive physical duties that include walking distances, standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, bending and reaching related to the position and patient services.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Admin V role within an acute care setting. Experience in an Admin V role in the last year. Experience providing admin support in an acute and/or palliative care setting.
