Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:Medical Terminology, Medical Office Assistant, Unit Clerk Specialty Certificate and/or post-secondary education applicable to the position. Typing speed of 45 wpm. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Typing and skills tests will be performed.
Preferred Qualifications:3 years’ experience in HIM with at least 2 years’ experience in Admitting/Registration. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. Attention to detail is critical. An excellent attendance record, reliability, and personal suitability must be demonstrated through employment references. One year experience in staff scheduling and payroll entry in ePeople. One year experience using MS Office One year experience in training and leading teams.
