Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant).
Additional Required Qualifications:3 – 5 years’ experience in a customer service environment. Demonstrated telephone skills are required. Must have demonstrated experience resolving complex client issues. Experience with Microsoft Office and email required. Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal is required; superior active listening and interpretative skills are required. Requires a high degree of customer service, problem solving, interpersonal skills and critical thinking. Typing speed minimum of 40 wpm.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in working in a unionized health care and/or 24/7 environment is preferred. Scheduling experience is preferred. Payroll and or Human Resource experience is a definite asset.
