Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant).
Additional Required Qualifications:Grade 12 or equivalent required. Medical Terminology course required. Recognized Business/Clerical certification (unit clerk, medical office assistant, etc.) required. Minimum 3 year recent experience in a hospital or medical environment involving bookings, reception, and administrative duties required. Demonstrated proficiency Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Internet, and Email) required. CliniBase training and experience required. Proven ability to effectively communicate with others and collaboratively work as an interdisciplinary team member required.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent Dental experience preferred. Computer/keyboarding skills required. Proficiency in Dental Clinic billing preferred.
