Your Opportunity:

As the Administrative Support IV you will work both collaboratively and independently with a multi-disciplinary team within the Clinics. Following the clinic protocols for clerical and organization support to the Outpatient Clinics, you will perform a variety of support duties including but not limited to: reception duties, receiving and processing referrals, organizing and scheduling patient appointments, time keeping, file maintenance, and data entry/review. You will be the coordinator on clinic days and will be expected to maintain clinic flow and ensure the Clinicians/clinic are conducted on time. ASIV is a lead role within the clinic, managing template design and builds, maintaining and implementing process mapping and Connect Care report generation, data management and communication. This Admin Support position currently supports the following Outpatient Clinics at ACH - Respiratory Clinics. There may be a requirement to support other outpatient clinics within the portfolio as required. As the Admin Support IV you will be self-directed; work under minimal supervision, have strong communication, professionalism and customer service skills; demonstrate independent decision-making, problem-solving skills; time management, confliction resolution, heights and weights, vitals and other clinical requirements, accurately collect & document information in a timely manner; be adaptable in an environment with constant interruptions and short timelines; show accountability and attention to detail. You must demonstrate an enhanced ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of a Unit Clerk or Medical Office Assistant program including Medical Terminology. 1 year experience providing administrative support in an outpatient healthcare setting. Experience with booking appointments, chart management, understanding of clinic work flow/processes, telephone etiquette and skills. Experience using an electronic booking/scheduling system.

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years’ experience providing administrative support in an outpatient healthcare setting. Experience working with children in an educational/healthcare, childcare or related setting. Experience with the following programs: Connect Care/ESP Timekeeping/Payroll.
