Administrative Support IV
Your Opportunity:
As a Patient Flow Admin IV, you will work as a member of RDRHC Bed Planning team reporting to the Manager RDRHC Patient Flow, Sylvan Lake Advanced Ambulatory Care and Site Manager- Sylvan Lake Community Health Centre. Patient Flow Admin IV will work closely with Patient Flow Coordinators to assess and identify inpatient capacity and liaise directly with inpatient units to identify and escalate barriers to flow that impact accommodation of patients preassigned to their units. Admin IV will work collaboratively with Patient Flow Coordinators, inpatient units, Emergency, OR and critical care areas directly as needed, to allocate assigned patients and play a role in coordinating incoming patients. Admin IV will contribute to standing reports on inpatient capacity and demand as well as attending and administrative duties related to Site Bed Huddle and OCP meetings. Patient Flow Admin will assume bed planning responsibilities as needed, work with electronic information systems to track the availability of inpatient beds, assist Patient Flow Coordinator to problem solve staffing needs, complete and distribute RDRHC Bed Reports, manage site room bookings and collaborate with Site Directors Admin V staff to accomplish additional administrative tasks.
