Reporting to the lead administration with accountabilities to the unit manager of Adult Addictions and Mental Health, the administrative support IV will act as the center of communication for the Adult Outpatient Clinic, Urgent Assessment Clinic, and Day Hospital. They will be providing clerical/organizational support for the clinic(s); which includes but not limited to: greeting clients in a warm engaging manner to ensure their experience is positive, create and maintain hard copy of charts and files, organizing clinic appointments for multiple resources, data entry, transcription, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This individual will handle all information in a confidential manner. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Grade 12 or recognized equivalent. 1-2 years’ experience in an Addiction and Mental Health Adult Outpatient Clinic setting. Completion and knowledge of Connect Care. An understanding and sensitivity to the confidential nature of the information received and communicated is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of Unit Clerk or Medical Office Assistant Certification. Knowledge and operation of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Equivalent typing speed of 60/wpm. Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team setting and be self-directed, innovative and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
