To provide safe and therapeutic care to all patients by utilizing the Regulated, Unregulated and Casual Staffing pool to meet the required/requested staffing needs on all units within the facility. Also to ensure that all staff are paid appropriately and correctly through correct time entry. Manage complex and urgent staffing needs for all units within the facility. utilize critical thinking and pragmatic solution to ensure proper staffing is assigned for the safe delivery of patient care. Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrate knowledge and ability to work within the ESP and e-People programs. demonstrate knowledge for all union contracts AUPE-GSS and ANC, UNA and HSAA. Be aware of all aspects of the ESP system; printing reports, entering data into the scheduled [shift, date, unit]; relaying staffing information to the units and RRT and Casual staff. Completing timecard checks to ensure all staff are being paid correctly with the appropriate codes and premiums as per contracts. Demonstrate the ability to work with a team and to function independently. Must have the ability to communicate in all manners, verbal, written, and telephone. Interpret the Timecard Generation Schedule. Complete the TAER, TIER, and SSRS reports and communicate the corresponding errors to the unit clerks for corrections. Must be detail oriented and precise in data collection and entry. Must follow the staffing guidelines as developed for the Staffing Office.
Preferred Qualifications:Excellent communication skills, with the ability to relate to all individuals in a clear and respectful manner. Must establish a good working relationship with all individuals within the facility as contact is made with all staff.
