Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of post-secondary education in office of business administration, medical office assistant and unit clerk. Training can't be substituted with experience and can't be learned on the job. Computer skills – proficient use of MS Office Suite. Experience working with, and knowledge of mental illness is required for our patient population. Ability to work on several different computer systems. Ability to deal appropriately with all levels of staff. Perception, initiative, good judgment and concern for detail and accuracy. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written English communications skills. Must be well organized and have ability to work in a very demanding and busy environment. Ability to work independently, assume responsibility and to foster an environment that promotes good teamwork. Ability to facilitate change in a progressively changing technological computer environment. Able to handle multiple demands at once and prioritize appropriately. Good organization skills. Good communication and conflict management skills. Detail orientated. Ability to promote the change process in a positive manner. Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods with extended computer use and lift up to 10 pounds. Experience and comfort in problem solving and conflict resolution.
Preferred Qualifications:Dictation/ Transcribing experience.
