Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.

Additional Required Qualifications:

The ASIV must have an understanding of AHS’ Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and the Bilateral Complaints Resolution Process. Astute at managing high levels of confidentiality, the ASIV will support the Manager and Sr. Consultants in effective and timely communications, scheduling, and problem solving. This position works independently to complete tasks related to operational responsibilities, information management and reports, financial activities, and human resourcing support. The incumbent must be self-directed and self-motivated. The incumbent works with minimal direction and indirect supervision to complete administrative work assignments where considerable competency, judgement, tact, creativity and initiative are required in resolving issues. Working alongside physicians and leaders within the organization, professionalism is paramount in representing the Department. Advanced skills in MS Office software and specifically Microsoft Access, Excel and Visio is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

ePeople Time Entry experience - two or more years' experience in timekeeping for a large team. iExpense experience. Medical Affairs experience is an asset.
