Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.
Additional Required Qualifications:Equivalent experience of 3 years at an intermediate administrative level may be considered; Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills - testing will be completed to confirm; Strong communication skills; Minimum intermediate competency in Microsoft Office Suite - testing will be completed to confirm; 40-50 wpm typing - testing will be completed to confirm; Previous experience with calendar management, minute taking, and creating agendas; Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with appropriate tact and diplomacy; To ensure your skills and qualifications are considered, a current resume and cover letter are required.
Preferred Qualifications:2 years of full-time experience in an intermediate administrative capacity in a Health Care setting; 2 years of experience managing calendars, minute taking, and creating agendas; Previous experience with basic accounting and managing expenses; Experience with Research and Trust Accounting at the University of Calgary; Previous event planning experience; Previous experience with scheduling; Previous Regional On Call (ROCA) experience; Medical Terminology.
