Administrative Support III
Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the 3A Ambulatory Medical Specialty Clinic Manager, the Admin Support III is responsible for providing complex administrative support to programs that conduct clinics in 3A Medicine Clinic. These programs include Infectious Disease, Hepatitis Support Program, Northern Alberta Program, RAPPORT, and Rheumatology. This frontline role requires strong professional interpersonal communication skills, accuracy, confidentiality, flexibility, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced high volume environment. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team required. Responsibilities include patient registration, booking appointments, managing multi-line phone communication, greeting visitors, maintaining accurate electronic records and resolving service issues. Minimum two years admin support III in an ambulatory setting experience preferred. Previous Ambulatory Clinic experience is preferred. Intermediate computer proficiency (Word and Outlook) is required. Strong Connect Care proficiency including schegistrar and front desk clerk roles.- Successful completion of a recognized Medical Office Administration program including medical terminology is required. A medium level of physical activity is required to fulfill job requirements including but not limited to reaching above shoulders frequently, looking up frequently, prolonged periods of telephone and keyboard computer work is required. Must be able to lift and hold 20 lbs. sufficient mobility to: bend, stoop, and move around rapidly throughout the shift is required.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Medical Office Assistant or Unit Clerk course. Experience with Connect Care (schegistrar and front desk roles). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Current BCLS-HCP certification with physical ability to perform CPR on adults. Minimum one year Admin Support experience in Ambulatory or Outpatient clinics.
