Administrative Support III

Do you like meeting new people? Have a passion for organization? Patient and Family Centred Care Family at the Stollery Children's Hospital is seeking additional casual Administrative Support III. This important role provides support and assistance to the Patient and Family Centred Care team and spaces as well as the patients and families who visit. This includes reception duties, tracking supply usage, replenishing supplies, creating orders, data entry, and assisting with document creation, printing etc. as requested. As these spaces are also supported by volunteers, this role is responsible for providing support and direction to these volunteers based on the needs of the shift. This casual position primarily covers weekend hours, with some relief weekday shifts available as well.

As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:As an Administrative Support III, you will require administrative skills and knowledge to support practices and initiatives within the department. Strong communication and people skills are required along with the ability to multitask and work independently. This role requires the ability to lift and move stock and supplies of up to 50lb. Bending and reaching above one's head is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a tertiary pediatric hospital setting.
