Your Opportunity:
Working under the general direction of the area supervisor, the Diagnostic Imaging Reception Clerk performs reception and other clerical duties (inclusive of rebooking) for the Diagnostic Imaging department located at Arthur J.E Child Comprehensive Cancer Center. The individual will be required to obtain and maintain all records associated with an appointment and will work closely with other areas within the Diagnostic Imaging department.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Recognized Business/Clerical course required. Medical Terminology Course required. Minimum 3 months recent experience in a hospital or medical environment, involved in booking, reception, and clerical duties preferred. Accurate and proficient keyboarding skills – must be able to type a minimum of 35 wpm. Must be able to work all shifts based on operational needs. Previous electronic scheduling experience preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel, Internet, and Email). Must be able to utilize dual monitors. It’s your move training required. Must be able to lift a minimum of 10lbs. May assist healthcare providers with lifting or transferring of patients. N95 fit testing required. Absolute attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent knowledge of the English language both written and oral. Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional image, manage stressful situations with empathy and to remain calm, courteous, sensitive, and tactful. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Skilled at paying close attention to detail. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Able to prioritize work and cope with frequent interruptions.
Preferred Qualifications:DI Front Desk and Registration Basics Connect Care Experience.
