This is an exciting Admin Support III opportunity to work in a new Mental Health Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) clinic at Rockyview General Hospital. rTMS Clinic is a service made up of a patient and family centered multidisciplinary team; focusing on a culture and expectation of relentless work ethic, positivity, constant proactive patient and colleague collaboration, and an emphasis on team. rTMS is a non-invasive form of brain stimulation used to treat mental health disorders. Under the supervision of the Manager, Registered Nurse and the Psychiatry Clinical Lead, the Admin Support III is responsible for reception duties, clerical support, communicating information between health disciplines, departments, patients and families while maintaining confidentiality of patient information and the processing, booking of appointments and data collection for patient appointments.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Knowledge of medical terminology is required Well-developed time-management skill. Ability to remain focused in stressful acute patient situations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Ability to communicate effectively to others, both verbally and in writing. Ability to prioritize work and effectively cope with frequent interruptions, noise, and other nearby distractions. Basic typing and computer skills are required. Ability to work as a team member and to request and accept direction as required. Previous experience in the area of mental health. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to respond during an emergency. Compassionate approach to others. Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English. Ability to work as a member of a team and to request and accept direction as required. Effective interpersonal and communication and conflict resolution skills with patients/clients, families, visitors and team members. Effective organizational and time management skills. Expertise in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and other IT related programs. Excellent judgment & critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a Unit Clerk position in a mental health setting. Experience in providing rTMS treatments. Clinical Knowledge & Content Management of rTMS standards & protocols. Ability to deal with highly sensitive & confidential manners.
