Your Opportunity:

Responsible to the Manager of the Occupational Therapy Service, the Administrative Support III is responsible for overall clinic and/or program support for Pediatric Central Intake-SNAC, FASD, and IPAS. Provides general clerical support including preliminary screening, processing referrals, scheduling meetings and appointments, file management, data entry, word processing, and follow-up phone calls. Provides assistance to clients, families, and clinical staff both in-person and over-the-phone. Works closely with other clerical and support staff, as well as staff in other areas. (E.g. Medicine, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Communication Disorders, Psychology, Social Work and Admitting) Assists with clinical projects or services and other related clerical duties including coverage for other clerical positions as required.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous experience with multi-provider scheduling and customer service focus and in health care setting required. Ability to multitask between three high volume clinics with multidisciplinary assessment. Advanced Schegistrar abilities within Connect Care is required. Ability to triage, screen, and schedule within Connect Care is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Must have effective interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to prioritize and organize work assignments with minimal direction. Must be able to tolerate prolonged sitting and various keyboarding tasks for 70-80% of the day.

Preferred Qualifications:

Post-secondary training in office management preferred.
