Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Medical Terminology Course. It's Your Move and CPR certification. and proficient keyboarding skills – must be able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute. Absolute attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent knowledge of the English language both written and oral. Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional image, manage stressful situations with empathy and to remain calm, courteous, sensitive, and tactful. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Skilled at paying close attention to detail. Able to prioritize work and cope with frequent interruptions. Must be able to work all shifts based on operational needs. 2 years Diagnostic Imaging experience. Demonstrated proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel, Internet, and Email). Must be able to utilize dual monitors. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and push/pull 50 lbs. May assist healthcare providers with lifting or transferring patients and pushing stretchers.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 3 months recent experience in a hospital or medical environment, involved in booking, reception, and clerical duties. Recognized Business/Clerical course desired. DI Front Desk and Registration Basics Connect Care experience. Previous Diagnostic Imaging experience. Previous electronic Diagnostic Imaging Scheduling experience.
