Administrative Support III
Your Opportunity:
Working under the general direction of the area supervisor, the Reception/Imaging Records Clerk performs reception and other clerical duties for the Diagnostic Imaging department at the Alberta Children's Hospital. The individual will be required to assist with obtaining and maintaining all records associated with appointments and will work closely with other areas within the Diagnostic Imaging department as required. This position has a significant opportunity to be an advocate for AHS in the receiving and coordinating of patients and their appointments.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Medical Terminology Course required. Minimum 3 months recent Diagnostic Imaging Clerical experience required. Computer/keyboarding skills required. Minimum typing > 35 wpm.
Preferred Qualifications:Recognized Business/Clerical course desired. Minimum 3 months recent experience in a hospital or medical environment desired. Demonstrated proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel, Internet and Email). Absolute attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to effectively communicate in English.
